About Me
Who AM I?
Sanita Mitchell is a powerful, dynamic Christian motivational speaker, author, and certified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist®. She is also a SYMBIS Facilitator, Life Coach, and Pastoral Clinical Mental Health graduate student at Marymount University.

Sanita equips women who have faced setbacks, disappointments, and life’s painful challenges to process grief, strengthen emotional resilience, and transform pain into purpose. Through faith-centered, non-clinical emotional wellness support, she helps women move forward with clarity, confidence, and victory—empowering them to walk boldly in their God-given greatness.
My Story
I know what it’s like to face broken dreams and deep loss:
-
Losing my beautiful daughter at 28 weeks of pregnancy (2010)
-
Losing my best friend of 23 years (2018)
-
Losing my beloved mother (2019)
-
Closing the doors of my childcare business while fighting to hold my marriage together
I’ve walked through grief, fear, and uncertainty. But by God’s grace, I discovered resilience, healing, and freedom in Christ. My past became the platform for my purpose—helping others to BREAKFORTH into healing, hope, and joy.

About Sanita Mitchell
My Passion
-
I especially love working with women, because so many of us wear masks—looking “together” for others, while silently battling imbalance and pain inside. My calling is to create safe, faith-filled spaces where women, couples, and even children can grieve, heal, and rediscover joy.
-
When I’m not coaching or speaking, I love walking, trying new recipes, enjoying the beach, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with family—especially my sweet grandson!

My Experience
-
6+ years helping women heal from grief (pregnancy/infant loss, parental loss, friendship loss, pet loss)
-
10+ years coaching couples toward thriving marriages
-
15 years of blended family experience—Antonio and I are PRO-blended families!
-
Founder & Executive Director of Anaya’s Project (501c3), supporting families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss
-
Former childcare provider, elementary teacher, and marriage ministry leader
